Northwest volcanic & heritage route

This immersive day begins with a low-difficulty circular hike (7 km) to discover the imposing landscape of Calderón Hondo and Montaña Colorada, volcanic cones with over 135,000 years of history. After taking in the views from the summit, we will head to the village of El Cotillo to experience the power of the North Atlantic from its cliffs and visit the emblematic lighthouse and the Castillo del Tostón. The route continues inland with a must-visit to a traditional cheese farm in Tindaya to taste the world-famous Majorero cheese, concluding with a cultural visit to the Church of La Candelaria in La Oliva.
