Fishing for a seafood recipe in Barcelona; Arianna, a marine biologist, will show you the emblematic seafood district from the point of view of its relationship with the sea. In a journey from its history to the present day, you will get to know places and institutions and you will get to know the local culture, its gastronomy and the character of its people. At the Barceloneta Market you’ll learn to recognise fresh, local produce, especially its star product: fish! You will finish with a tasting of local products.
In the afternoon, Núria awaits you at the fishermen’s wharf. You will visit the docking area, the Clock Tower, and experience a magical moment: the arrival of the fishermen at the docking area after a day’s work. You will discover the fresh fish of the day and you will be able to attend the fish auction, a unique and singular activity that will not leave you indifferent. An authorised buyer will purchase the fish that you will take with you for dinner. You’ll finish with a glass of cava in the net yard, where you’ll enjoy a chat with the fishermen and a magnificent view of Barcelona. Ready for an authentic seafood menu? A very special show cooking awaits you in a unique space near the harbour, where you will be accompanied by a chef and put the most authentic seafood recipes into practice.
Garraf Up & Down; An adventure awaits you in the heart of the Garraf Park, which you will get to know from an underground perspective. You will enjoy a guided descent into one of the park’s chasms and, inside, you will taste a delicious sparkling wine. You will visit a family winery and taste a variety of wines accompanied by a tasty brunch of local and km0 products.
Sup Yoga. Can you imagine a calm sea and incredible colours of the sky that draw a special Barcelona? Stop imagining to live a unique experience aboard a paddle surf board.
